Back with LOs and some news...

Now that the LOs I did as guest DT member for Sarahscards have gone 'live' I can share them with you. The kit was so lush to work with... I will seriously need the papers again. I am really really pleased that Sarah has asked me to be a permanent DT member... how lucky am I?It's been a quiet week in this house... Harry has been at my mum's for the week. They took him to Flamborough for a few days and it sounds as though he has had a whale of a time, but it does sound as though ma and pa are tired!!! Can't think why that would be ;)

Tomorrow we are meeting at meadowhall to get him back, and I can't wait. Miss his chubbly bubbly cheeks and his attitude.

Only one more week of the summer hols left... how did that happen? Another busy week to finish off the break with 6 kiddy winkies in the house at various times during the week... Rob is so glad he goes to work.

The following bit of news was going to be shared with you next week, but after events today I can share now.

This is baby number 3, due on or around the 5th March 2009. Had a bit of a scare this morning which resulted in a trip to the EPU and a scan, which showed the little guy was doing ok, dated at 12+1 and nothing could be seen as to why there had been a bleed. The scan was so clear, and you could see him sucking his thumb, and when he kicked his legs I could feel him too which always a nice feeling. Fingers crossed that all will go smoothly from now on.
So this is why I haven't been blogging regularly or scapping as much.... I have been so wiped out in the evenings that all I've done is veg out in front of the tv!

Back to scrapping:)

I was asked to do some guest DT work for sarahscards, and was sent the most divine kit... seriously seriously gorgeous. So I have been busy, and have to say I am back into a scrapping groove.... woooohooooo!!! Unfortunately I can't share the whole LOs with you just yet, but here are a few sneak peaks.Now the mojo is back I am hoping that I will be back to scrapping fairly regularly... well maybe after Big Brother has finished!!! I know, how sad am I... addicted again *rolls eyes* Maybe next year I will not watch, maybe next year my life will not be taken over with watching a bunch of weirdo wannabees locked in a house.... maybe!!!

Ok, I admit it.... I am the worlds worst blogger lately. I am going to make the bestest of efforts from today to start blogging regularly. It has been a busy old time of late here... it was my birthday on the 16th, then we went to Lego land for our holibobs, then ma and pa came to stay as it was Oliver's birthday on the 26th. He had a fab birthday, getting spoilt with lots of PS2 and Wii games, toys and more money than a 5 year old should have!!! he had a joint party with his friend Cormac at Slide and Seek... which with 18 5 year olds was a VERY noisy affair. On Sunday we headed off to Rhyl again for the day, and even though I applied factor 50 every time I slapped it on the kids.... I still got burnt!!! we had a fab day though and at least I look nice and healthy now the redness has gone...LOL!!! I haven't actually got round to getting the photos off the camera and on to the pooter yet so this is going to be a photo less post.

Huge congratulations to sometime cropping friend Helen on the speedy arrival of baby Oliver... cool name;)

If I haven't been to visit blogs recently I apologise... I will get back on the case.

Ok so I had all yesterday available to scrap, I also had quite a bit of time today for scrapping.... so how many LOs did I get done???

ONE!!!

I have however left all my scrap stuff out so I may get another done tomorrow night... may, or maybe not... we'll see.

Ok so haven't been around again for a while... maybe I should just give up on this blogging milarky! I have already realised that I am winter scrapper, not much gets done in the summer... not that we are having much of a summer!!!

The kids are keeping me busy during the day.... my own and the ones I mind, which means I haven't had a chance to play along with HS:MS. Then to get all my scrap stuff out at night is a pain as I then have to make sure it is all away before I go to bed so that it doesn't get into little hands in the morning.

I do plan to get a serious amount of scrapping done this weekend though... so watch this space ;)

Here are the LOs I did for the guest spot on Sarahscards DT. The kit was so gorgeous to use, and it was fun using papers that I may not have bought thinking they were a bit girly.

On Wednesday night we had a letter pushed through the door for Harry. A few weeks ago there was a fun day at the local park as they shared their plans to develop it into a place for the whole community. There was a balloon race and Harry's balloon won!!! It was found in Leek, Staffordshire so it had travelled a fair distance. He has won a Fitness First goody bag with a months free membership (which Rob will use) swim passes for Tameside pools, and he has to have his photo taken with the manager, the friends of Granada Park committee and the Mayor... scrapping opportunity!!!!

My friend Jen has her 20 week scan today... thinking pink thoughts for you, but more importantly healthy baby thoughts.

Huge hugs to another dear friend... you know who you are.

And by for now from me... I plan to be back with another post over the weekend :)

Smack smack bad blogger!!

I have had no inclination to blog for ages... for a number of reasons. Decorating has kind of taken over everything at the moment... quite often I haven't been sitting down until gone 10 at night so blogging has been the last thing on my mind. On the 19th I had my wisdom teeth out, so that kind of floored me for a while. I am recovering now... the swelling has gone and the bruising is now so light it can be disguised with make up, so just waiting for the stitches to come out. It is a good feeling knowing that I won't have any more wisdom teeth problems.

I have also been a bit up and down emotionally due to the drugs I have been taking to try and get pregnant. I am on a higher dose than I have taken before and I am struggling with the side effects.... not fun :(

Anyway... I am hoping that I am back for good now... I even managed to scrap 2 LOs last night. This one was a take on this sketch by Jems over at Scrapbook Star.

This LO was done very quickly, and I am really quite pleased with it simplicity... maybe this is a style I need to adopt more often!!!

Anyway... I must go and take advantage of having the house to myself tonight... well the boys are in bed, but Rob is out... a nice hot bath and a spot more scrapping with a bottle of cold diet coke.... gosh I know how to live eh...LOL!!!

I am still alive!

I cannot believe I haven't blogged for two weeks!!! As the school holiday ends I have finally found time to sit and blog. It has been a busy couple of weeks with a house full of children, dh off work for the second week and mum visiting this weekend... busy but a lot of fun. Two of the boys I looked after go back to their childminder tomorrow, which I am sad about as they were a joy to look after and settled really well... the only upside is that I won't have to read the Dora the Explorer book 9 times a day to Elliot...LOL!!! Adam started with me last week, and has really settled in well. I saw his mum in Sainsburys yesterday and she said he had been mithering all day about 'going to Louise's house', awwwwwww... how sweet is that. I will have to be careful with Harry though... he has started to call me 'weese' and not mummy!!!

Yesterday we went to Rhyl for the day with my mum. We had a great day and the boys loved the freedom of the almost empty beach. I took way too many photos, but as this was Harry's first time on the beach since learning to walk it had to be done.
