I can't believe we are almost done with June already... eeeeeek!!! where is the time going? I've so much to do and just never seem to have enough time... i could do with a pause button!
Well enough moaning... I just popped on to share the LOs I did for the Sarah's Cards blog.... of course if you've already been over there you will have seen them, but I like them, so you can just look at them again... lol!!!
I did a step by step class on how to create your own unique painty background paper... the post can be seen HERE.
I did a clean and crisp LO too... for those people who don't do paint and mess!!!
And an inbetweenie LO that was not as painty and messy as the first, but used similar techniques.
Then I completed the post with a fun and silly LO of me and Nat sporting some rather fetching moustaches!!!
This months challenge over on the Sarah's Cards blog was set by me... the challenge is to use clothing as inspiration for your scrapbook pages. Here is my example LO, and a few close ups....
Play along with us, leave a link on the blog to your work and be in with a chance to win a £10 e-voucher to spend in the shop.
I've also been playing with the Sarah's Cards July kit, which at first glance I thought I'd struggle with as it's pink and feminine... but I actually had fun with it. Here are a couple of sneaks....
I've somewhat neglected my Twisted Sketches promoting duties... I'm so bad! Here are few LOs I did...
This picture was drawn by Oliver at school and was the only thing we kept from the bag of year 2 work that come home at the end of the year. It was already cut into this curve shape... perfect!
Hi I'm Lou (or Louise if you’re my mum or it’s a Sunday or I’ve been naughty), I'm a busy mum to Oliver (8), Harry (4) and Drew (2). I'm a high school Art teacher currently on a break whilst the litluns are little. Although there are days when going back to work is very appealing, I am loving spending time at home with my boys. I'm currently a registered childminder, so have other people paying me for their kids to mither me and destroy my house too... lol!
This blog is a place for me to share my scrapbook pages with anyone who is interested in seeing them.... I have a lot of friends in 'real life' who just don't get it. If you do happen to stumble across my blog, please leave a comment.... that way I won't feel as though I'm talking to myself!
I also apologise in advance for any typos... my fingers and brain aren't always in sync with each other!
